The Donation Pick-up Driver is directly responsible for:
- Schedule donation pick-ups based on our zone and scheduling protocol.
- Supervise the Donation Driver Assistant.
- Communicate to the ReStore Director/ Manager regarding incoming donations or VIP donors.
- Load and unload donated materials.
- Screen for donation usability based on the donation guidelines.
- Interact positively with donors, customers, volunteers and staff.
- Follow all store policies and procedures.
- Other duties assigned by ReStore Director/Manager.
- Drive HFHNCM box truck to pick-up donated goods.
The Donation Pick-up Driver reports to the ReStore Director/Manager.
This position is part-time based between 30 and 35 hours per week from Wednesdays through Saturdays. Qualified candidates must meet all of the following criteria:
- Education
– Minimum High School Diploma or GED. - Experience
– Minimum of six months’ work experience.
– Retail experience with building materials/hardware preferred but not necessary. - Skills
– Superior customer service skills.
– Able to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform heavy manual tasks, work standing or walking for a full work day.
– Able to supervise volunteers with a wide range of skills and abilities.
– Must pass Criminal Background Check and Sexual Offender Check.
– Must have a Class D driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.
– Must be organized and comfortable on the phone.
